✨ Our Vision
The Still Place is more than our home, we hope for it to eventually be a peaceful retreat for ministry families in need of rest, space, and renewal.
As a family in full-time ministry, we’ve experienced the exhaustion that can come from being battle weary; emotionally, spiritually, and physically. We've lived through the tight budgets, the loneliness, burnout, the prayerful stretching of time and energy, and the spiritual warfare. We also know the beauty of what happens when we pause, breathe, and return to our First Love.
Our heart is to create a sacred, God honoring retreat space where pastors, missionaries, and full-time Christian ministry families can come to rest, free of charge.
🌴 What We're Building
The Still Place will be a multi-purpose haven nestled in nature, designed with families, faith, and fruitfulness in mind. As God provides, we’re dreaming and building:
🏡 Sabbatical Homes – Comfortable, peaceful cottages for rest and restoration
🕊 A Chapel – A quiet space for prayer, worship, and reflection
🌿 Olive Groves – For cultivating our own olive oil as a symbol of healing and anointing
🌼 Community Gardens – A place to gather, grow, and be nourished
🏕 Camping Areas – For families seeking simplicity and stillness under the stars
🧺 Open Fields & Activity Spaces – For picnics, prayer walks, and children to play freely
☕ A Tent Maker Café – A nod to Paul’s example, and our own way of using business to support ministry

If you’re serving in full-time ministry and find yourself in need of space to simply rest, reconnect, and be poured into, we see you!
We’re building this place to glorify God, with you in mind! When deciding on what property we want to build our forever home on, we knew we wanted it to be an extension of what we love to do; ministering to those in ministry.
Though we’re just in the planning stages, and not open for retreats yet, we invite you to join our interest list to stay updated as God continues to unfold this vision.

Want to Partner With Us?
We're not a 501(c)(3), by prayerful choice. We believe in walking by faith and freedom, and staying accountable directly to those we serve. However, we are officially registered as a non-profit organization in the State of Florida and federally with the IRS.
We have decided to not actively seek donations, but rather have the ministry supported by our business, Island Espresso. When you purchase anything from our family business, it helps us be able to pour back into our ministry vision! We also have our special coffee blend Revival Roast, where all the proceeds go towards local non-profits and our ministry goals.
Gifts that are given towards the ministry are also set aside in a separate account, as we save to purchase land and build the first of the sabbatical homes.
Of course, the greatest way you can partner with us is continued prayer for our family and what the Lord is doing.
